Where does your mind go?

Where does your mind go when I say, "Name a good knife under $100"? I was asked this by a friend of mine. His birthday is soon and I wanted to get him something cool, but small and tough. I instantly though of a Becker Necker or a Remora. What are your thoughts?

Grohman also makes a realy nice neck knife, it comes with a nice leather sheath, for about 45$. So with that necker you could also get him a SAK, he would be all set!

Didn't the OP ask where our minds went when asked for a good knife under $100? The fact he mentioned neck knives doesn't mean we have to follow suit, does it?

Seven Moras? HAHAHA, JK.
But seriously, I just re-sharpened my HD Companion (Edge Pro Apex) last night - it was the first time I've sharpened it and, while it was very sharp originally, I think it's even sharper now... ridiculously sharp! I love these things. And I've given them as gifts to friends (knife and non-knife dudes and babes), and they are always thrilled to get one (let alone 7 - LOL).

My mind usually is in the gutter.

Fixed: Izula, Beckers,
Folders: Kershaw Blur, ZT0350 blem, aforementioned spydies (especially in ZDP-189), BM grip, minigrip and 530. My fave would be the manix 2 lightweight in BD-1.

Ah ah ah, what if for ME, it's all that comes to my mind? We all have different tastes brother you should respect that. I'm a necker guy? Like some people only buy machetes and some only folders. But I get what you are sayin so if it looked wrong.

I was looking at the becker necker but I bought the White rivers knucklehead instead. It felt better in my hand than the Becker. Great little neck knife in s30v and as a bonus it has a bottle opener. Great looking knife, great steel for $65 retail... no brainer
