Where else can I find a real battle axe?

Will any more functional battle axes be present at the show? Also, does anyone know of any web sites that sell real battle axes that are fully functional? If so, please post the sites.

Thanx Andy! Very, very nice. Anyone know the conversion from pounds to $ ? I don't have a clue. Just wondering.:eek: :D ;)
 
Conversion from the pound to the dollar is around 1lb=$1.60-$1.80 so the price of 1200lbs would equal $1920-$2160.

That price is worth it if it would hold up to the abuse I would give it, in which I would most likely break it and be out 2 grand. I like the Axe on the site, but you have to wonder if something that pretty can hold up to the torture Tonan the Barbarian can dish out. I'm looking for a large "Battle" axe I can beat the living #@$# out of and will only have to worry about resharpening it. I sent an e-mail to the company about the axe, but no reply as of yet. If anyone else knows where I could find anything I could literally chop a tree down with that resembles a monster batttle axe, and is HEAVY duty, please post a link. I am going to investigate the raven arms axe more, but I'm still looking. I would pay that much $$$ if I thought it could take my kind of "wear and tear".

Another product idea we have entertained is a battle-worthy Indian style War Club, a la' rifle stock handle. I think that would be cool.

Andy, if you guys make a Indian War Club, sign me up! Are we talk'n Last of the Mohicans style? That would be @#$!ing cool. I would buy one, name the price!

As for the RMJ forge Talon, thanx for the input, it looks great, but it is just too small for what I'm looking to get. It's a hawk with a little longer handle than normal.

As for the Viking Axe by Ragner, I love the head. It's very large, and meaty, just what I'm looking for except I want a longer handle, which I may be able to order or put on myself. I'm very interested in that.

BTW, Raven Armoury will give you what you are looking for. Their work is superb, and very heavy duty.
