Where else to buy Emerson knives?

Hi guys,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I am keen to buy a combat karambit within the next two or three weeks. I live in New Zealand, so ordering from most sites won't work since they will not ship overseas. If they do, either the karambit is out of stock or the site seems a bit 'dodgy'.

I do not want to buy used, mainly since I have had bad experiences with used stuff and because I just want a new knife :)

I have emailed the folks at Emerson regarding how long and the price of shipping overseas, since I am not comfortable ordering something without knowing how much it is going to cost in the end but they haven't gotten back to me yet and I REALLY am looking to beat the Christmas rush of packages being sent everywhere. Also, taking advantage of the warranty is also a plus.

So in short, for all international customers out there, where do you get your Emersons from? Would you be able to recommend a good and reputable online dealer??

Thank you,

Tony

Thanks! I will look into that. The only problem is that in their FAQ they state that new customers have to pay using Western Union. I've never even heard of that until now so I will probably avoid that..

and their Combat Karambits are out of stock :(

Combat karambits are probably out of stock at most dealers until Emerson produces the next run. They sell pretty fast.

Is there any way I can get an eta on that? So even if order from Emerson knives directly, I won't get it? It doesn't say "sold out" over the thumbnail picture like some other knives so I am kind of confused..

Thanks

Everything over there is either sold out or not indicated if still available.

I heard back from Emerson today and they said that they still have a few Karambits left, so while I will be paying the full price, at least I get the knife I want :)

I'm new to adding Emerson knives to my collection and am finding the same challenges you're having in finding product availability.

However, if it's any consolation, Emerson does Tweet to announce up coming production runs.

Post some pics when you get the new knife!

Just a quick follow up to my first post. The more I look at Emerson's knives, the more I want to get more =) Unfortunately, the retail price from their website is way too much for ordering a bunch.

I had a look at Knifecenter, NewGraham and some others but was hoping you guys new more.

A little off topic, I also want a high powered light such as a NovaTac or SureFire to keep the bad guys away in a safe manner so it would be cool if it was sold on the same site as well. To save on shipping international etc.

Thanks!

Thanks Mystro, the tan handles look really nice and no doubt it would look good with my SureFire tan G2 :) But the Karambit is really the one for me. Since I cannot find it anywhere else, I am paying the full 257 dollars for it.

Does Emerson make knives fairly regularly? Just asking since most dealers are out of stock and I really want to get my hands on a few out of stock items like the mini cqc 15, horseman etc

Let me know when you find your mini CQC-15 as that one is next on my list too. Looking at the stonewashed plain or serrated version.

Then I'd like to have P-Sark in Stonewashed plain edge.
