Where have all the PE black BM556 Mini-Grips gone!?

In a moment of weakness tonight, I decided to pull the trigger on the PE black BM556. But I couldn't find a single one in any of my favorite/trusted haunts! :eek::confused: I haven't seen one on the exchange for a long time either (or I always miss them). I know that's a good sign, but it's frustrating nonetheless. I don't shop the Bay either, though pickings looked slim there as well when I checked.

Are they just backordered everywhere? Never had this happen to me before, but I suppose it's a good thing for my wallet.... :D
 
Oops, I meant the standard black handle, non-coated blade, but I just saw that knifeworks does indeed have the standard version too. Weird. I missed it somehow, though I must have looked through KW at least twice... :confused: :o

I think that particular model has to be special ordered by the dealer, as last I checked the BM website does not list it as standard.
 
Really? I thought the PE satin blade w/ black scales was the standard 556. In any case, I just ordered that one from KW :D
 
Right, I looked it up a while ago too out of curiosity :thumbup:. Have my eyes on a Grip and 710 next :D

I meant the black on black - I got confused too. Sorry bout that. :) I sort of have a thing for mini-grips.
 
Yeah, I know, my OP was misleading. :o I'm pretty excited about this Mini-Grip, really looking forward to it.

I was so excited, I ended up buying the pink one as well, for my GF. :D She's usually not one for pink, but she seemed to like it when I showed her a pic of it a while back. :thumbup:
