Where is my Tanker Grey, Boss HOG???

I was planning in green micarta and tanker.

Went green/hammered

I picked up some hammered silver in last years OP2W, it looks durable but I like my coated blades flat and not shiny like the old urban. I ordered Hammered silver but would have much rather had Tanker

It did force me to try it, got a War Dog & one if these A2 TG's in HS, but I prefer the Tanker color.

Agreed, I have a few in Tanker, love that coating!!!!
 
The last Tanker blade I got my hands on had an odd color to it. Almost like some bronze had gotten in the mix.
 
Tanker is my #1 coating color. The hammered silver is nice, but thicker and glossy, sorta like the old Moss Green. I don't think it takes the place of the Tanker Gray though.

My NMFSH was that way. A brownish Tanker Gray. Was terrible. :poop: I stripped it...
 
I'm also disappointed in the lack of tanker being a blade color option. It's my go to.

Yeah. I worked out a trade and had two O2W Ratweilers to choose from. The Tanker one had a much better sharpening job done on it but it had that brownish color in it, and it wasn't evenly distributed. Kind of blotchy. My first instinct was to take it anyway and strip it but with the grinder marks that have been showing up on so many blades lately I decided to go with the other one that wore a black blade.
 
Odd. My thick O2W Ratweiler in Tanker Gray looks like the normal Tanker color I'd expect.
 
Used to be my favorite coating, luckily my tastes switched to the black coating. Is tanker really going away?
 
Tanker was my first Busse coating. Then became my go-to for either bruiser or red/black. I would have gotten my new A2 in tanker if it was offered.
 
my 2 favorites are desert sage and tanker for sure.

bring back tanker boss.

Sadly, we aren't the ones who discontinued it.:(

We are working on it though. . .
