In the next couple of days it looks like we will be hitting 10,000 posts for the second time around.

Whoda thunk it!!

Rusty, you must have some interesting insights based on your statistical analysis of all these posts.

Of our nearly 30,000 total posts both here and in the archives I have nearly 10,000 myself. One of the reasons I have so many posts is I because I believe that anybody who comments or asks a question in this forum deserves some kind of acknowledgement that he is here and alive and has been heard. A lot of my posts are only a word or two -- thanks, welcome, ok, email me, etc. But at least the fellow knows he has been heard and anybody who comes to the HI forum deserves that much from me at least.

Anyway, thanks all for great participation -- great guys make a great forum!!!!!! And great convventions, too!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, Bill, as of 5:14 PM PDT 31 August 2000 we have the following totals:

Himalayan Imports Forum / Archive: 18,242
Himalayan Imports Forum / Active: 9,816
Cumulative Blade Forums H I posts: 27,058

The number of posts on the Knifeforums H I Forum is not available to me at this time but would surely add another 3,000 plus posts. So 30K is certainly respectable.
 
According to the Khukuri Kneilsens, Stuart is awful close. I set my preferences to the last ten days, and came up with 760 posts and replies to the HI forum in that time. That is averaging over 75 a day - during Khonvention time yet!

Another forum had 35 posts and replies for a ten day average of 3.5 per day.

Just the facts, ma'am...
 
I can believe it, Bill. Especially with our forum being as busy as it has been over the last several days.

I'm still sckratching my head over all this.Never wooda thuk it,just glad it worked out with HI and Bill still around.Many more Khuks to buy many more Khonventions to go.
