I just received about 100 knives from my father-in-law and have no idea how to go about checking out their value. A few examples of what I got:
Parker Frost
1978-2, 1978-3, 1978-4, 1978-5, 1978-11, Tobacco Whittler etc.

Kershaw
Models: 1050, 2825, 3000DWO, 3000ST, 3100, 3115SO etc

Old Timer, Westerns, Case, Camillus atc

I have tried to look many of these up in which all are in new condition with boxes but have a huge range on their values. I have tried to check out some price guides but have those on a waiting list at the library and none in the local book stores. Is there anywhere else to look these up?

You can go to google and look some of those Kershaw's up and a link to some threads started in the Exchange will pop-up. Like previously stated, you can also go to evilbay and look at some of the completed sales. Those are a good resource. If I were you, I would purchase a gold membership from here and try to sell some of those on the Exchange.
