Anyone out there know the status of the Bit Kit that Leatherman is suppose to have for the Charge and new Wave. I don't see it on their Web site. Thanks for any info you may have.

I thought it was supposed to come with the tool?

Or are you talking about the tool adapters (that Charges/new wave doesn't have)? Tool-adapters

I'm sorry I can't find anything else similar to what you are talking about.

Edit: or is what you're talking about supposed to be new?

Leatherman is suppose to have a 20 Bit Kit that you can buy so you have more options with your screw driver. Yes I got the 8 Bit kit that came with the tool but that 20 bit kit would improve the whole tool by some margin.

Hello,

My 20 piece bit kit arrived yesterday from Smokey Mountain Knife Works. Bits are help in two plastic molded pieces which fit in a nylon carry case. Well done.

Also got the bit kit of Blast?fuse/Kick a week or so ago.

Cheers - Joe

man lol:

From the Manufacturer
The new Leatherman Bit Kit lets you expand you bit collection with 21 extra two-sided bits-a total of 42 different tools. The Bit Kit can be used with the Removable Bit Driver and the bit drivers on the new Charge Ti, Charge Xti, and New Wave multi-tools. Engineered to Leatherman's exacting standards, made from S2 Tool Steel with a zinc coating, they are 35-percent stronger thatn Stainless Steel and even more corrosion resistant.

huh,better than stainless steel......is that a joke? :D

I got one from Amazon.com in 3 days. Well made and nice selection of bits. The few bits they give you with the the Charge TI/XTI are (at least for me) all the wrong ones for me.

the bit kit give you 2-3 double ended bits of straight, phillips, Torx, Posidrive, Allen, and the square bit drivers. Nicely done.
