The title pretty much says it all on this one. I'm wondering where the Buck Northshore is manufactured. Any help that anyone can provide on this would be great. Thanks in advance.

Yep, Taiwan. Doesn't mean the quality is bad though, Buck has high standards and although it's made in Taiwan, fit and finish are very good. Plus, I hear the heat-treat of the 420HC blade is pretty decent too (well as far as 420HC goes).

God Bless Amerikka_stan.
I wonder if Chuck has an estate there so he can keep track of quality control for WalMart ?

It's all a matter of design, materials used, training, manufacturing equipment, engineering and QC by the parent company. If all those things are properly accounted for, then country of origin should not be a problem. Granted, it bothers me a little to see some Buck knives being made overseas. But from a business standpoint I can understand why.
