Where is the Rainbow Scallion?

Two of my favorite knives are the Rainbow Chive and Leak - but would love to have a Rainbow Scallion.

Have they ever done a run of Rainbow Scallions - or any info on whether it's on the drawing board?

Welcome to BF's!

We have yet to make a Rainbow Scallion, as we don't construct that model the same way we do the Chive and Leek. The rainbow finish only works on steel (vs aluminum), and there is just not a frame lock Scallion available.

Now we have had more than a few on this board yell and scream at us for not having a frame lock Scallion, and we will have to see if there vocals pay off.

Seems natural that we would incorporate this Scallion into the family...keep the faith.
 
Ok, here's my vote for building the framelock Scallion. I have a few Scallions and love the pattern! Lots of guys I work with carry some version of the Scallion. It seems to be just the right size...not too big, not too small. BTW, new steel would be good too! :)
 
Thanks Thomas. I agree with Fishtale - it's the ideal size - and the rainbow finish gives it the ultimate gentlemen's knife look (not too scary). Add me to the 'yelling and screaming' category :)

I am one who absolutely needs a frame lock scallion. Please? DO IT!!!

(oops, sorry, I guess that was yelling ;) )
 
Yes Coach, I would be in on the frame lock Scallion as well...

You know Coach, I've bought over 11 of these as customer gifts...It would be nice to have a frame lock for myself!

A boutique run high end steel, frame lock Scallion to lead into a regular production frame lock Scallion would be great. You'd get me for at least two of the boutique Scallions and who knows how many of the regular ones depending on the available colors.

A frame lock Scallion with S30V.....I'd buy a couple. :thumbup:
 
I may be wrong but I think I did see a frame lock scallion at a local wal mart a few years ago I remember it was all black
