QUICK question:

I had an RC-4 & RC-3 with the tan blade and tan canvas micarta - just curious if the newly branded ESEE-4 and ESEE-3 will eventually be launched with the same color scheme?

(I'm going to stop asking for an ESEE-6 to be released with the above :D)

Saw a pic of the combo on the ESEE website, but haven't seem them on any of the vendor sites.... am I missing them?

Apologies if this has been covered before....

Thanks!

don't know. i was about to buy one like that, went to KSF and they only have a few 4s listed, none in the desert colors. haven't gotten around to checking all the other vendors yet.

i expect ... well, i don't know what to expect. all the vendors i've seen previously always seemed to have bunches in stock of every flavor. perhaps they suddenly got popular over in the sandbox and demand outpaced production?

Not tan canvas micarta. Several web-sites, including knifeworks, list tan blades (-3 and -4) with green canvas micarta scales.

In fact, I have a DT with green canvas micarta scales ESEE-4 waiting at the PO for me to pick it up RFN! I just can't get off this friggin' telecon to go pick it up! ARGH!

there available ,DT W/Green Canvas scales is the actual name,
KSF is moving to Oregon and trying to lessen his inventory for the move...
then he'll stock more in the future

I did not notice this my apologies I wnder did jeff and mike start using different material or is it just labeled differently I don't trust pics on web sites because of lighting and shadows sometimes it distorts the true colors

It has always been green canvas micarta.

Although it doesn't really look green until you use it heavily, and even then

barely...

This. My RC-3's scales look tan until you get them wet. They look more brown than green then. The Izula scales seem to be the same.
