There is a guy on a greener forum that recently pounded his XM 18 with a rock. Knife is still good, no blade play.
think you could post this link? i did a google search and couldnt find it!!
You wont find it with google and I cant post a direct link, but check your messages. Sending the link to you.
Anyone????
I too would appreciate that link please. Thank you!
I saw video of Rick Hinderer throwing his XM-18 repeatedly at a target on his property.
I also saw video of someone using their XM-18 to punch through am ammo box.
Rick has pictures on his website of him driving his jeep over an XM-18.
Never had the balls to do any of that stuff with mine, but it was all impressive.
I found links to the video clips on another forum.
As much as i would love to see that, I dont think that it would be be anything too exciting...I picture it holding up better than the strider in Ankerson's tests. What I want to see is Ankerson do a Sebenza test. I think that would quiet alot of the strider vs crk debate.

Ankerson versus Sebenza that is equivalent of the mayweather vs. pacquioa fight something tells me it ain't ever gonna happen. If it does that and on all of Ankersons frame lock test going forward I would for Ank to record the lock bar engagement before test and after. Nothing special just open the knife fully to engage the lock and mark the tang with a pencil, then repeat upon completion of testing.
I would do one as soon as someone sends me one to test.
Don't everyone jump at once now. LOL
I don't own one so it would have to be donated to me for testing for me to do it.
I am sure it would do very well though.
I think it will do well also, maybe some issues with the tip, its not that thin, but who knows. The only issue I can see is if the lockup was not in spec, or the lock gets damaged beyond its tolerances, but that is dangerous to any lock.
I remember there was a guy that posted a pic of him using the Seb to baton, cant find the pic but did find someone that stated he did

I am not about to buy a Sebenza knowing full well I would both void the warranty on a $400 knife and piss off Chris Reeve at the same time.
Everyone knows how he feels about abuse of his knives.
My Strider SmF was different because it was covered.
That is why someone either donates one to you or they should do their own testing to find out. You have stated plenty of times that the Seb is not on your short list to get.
