Where is ?

I'm sure the Umnumzaan will be better in hand than the Regular. I just hope CRK would consider an other blade shape for the production batch...

OK, I get it.
Why would I want to replace this with some new fangled blade?

Well... :o That's true : my question was too short and a bit strange. But I was trying to collect different opinions on the new folder.

What I meant is the following :

- I'm a very happy owner of five Sebenza, one Mnandi, Shadow III, Shadow IV and Project I.

- Sebenza has been my EDC for 7 years and I'm a true CRK fan as I relied on it on many occasions.

- I do not care about the price, marketing and distribution issues.

- In my opinion the main qualities of Sebenza are : simplicity, versatility, easy to use, one tool to disassemble, easy to do it. It is not slippery, you can use it with gloves and it locks "like a vault". To make it so simple and so perfect represent a HUGE amount of work and studies. And top of the top, Sebenza is a "fixed blade folding knife".

- The new folder - I didn't hold it, just had a look at pictures - looks really different. The O-rings are a strange option in my opinion as I use my knives in some difficult environments. Are they going to resist ? What are the advantages of the blade shape ? Glassbreaker ? Handle checkering ?

Maybe I was expecting too much from the new issue. And maybe I'm wrong.

But at first sight, it seems far away from what convinced me.
