Where oh where is my Ranger spike hawk?

Hi everybody! this is the fourth week I've been waiting for my spike hawk.That's cool because Andy stated in the e-mail invoice it would take 2 to 6 weeks. I know patience is a virtue,but I can hardly wait any longer! I know one day I'll come home and there'll be a UPS package on the porch with American Tomahawk Company on it as the return adress. In the mean time please tell me the wait is worth it:).
 
Two points:

1. Andy will do as he says. You can count on it. :)

2. The spike hawk is GREAT! MY friend Brian and I uesd these on a two week survival trip in an extremely remote area of Idaho. They are fabulous, a great tool for the deep woods. When I first received mine - at work! - we all passed it around. I looks and feels like a piece of history.

I Know that 'waiting' feeling. All I can tell you is that its well worth the wait. I got my spike hawk several months ago and I've been completely happy with it. I take it out to the desert and use it hard. Its a monster! Its tough, sharp, and can take a beating. Its the ultimate field tool as far as I'm concerned. I carry my tomahawk and a small fixed-blade. That takes care of all my cutting needs. I haven't thrown my spike hawk yet ( can't find any trees big enough in the desert) but I hear they're a GREAT thrower. My wife laughs at me because, when I'm stuck around the house, I often carry around my tomahawk! Can't help it. Just love the feel of it in my hand. After your spike hawk comes you'll probably want one of the Next Generation hawks. They're awesome!!! Hope your package arrives soon.

Hey Stoneage and Tattoo,

Just checking to see if you guys have recieved
your Next Gen. Spike Tomahawks yet???

I really do hope the wait is worth it. I ordered mine on Nov. 29 and now I've been told that it will be another two weeks before it is even shipped.
 
Tatoo's was delivered today at around 4:00PM. Don't have StoneAge's info in front of me at the moment.

As for your order Randal16-1, don't know who you are myself, but it sounds like you spoke to customer service today. Yes, we are at the latter part of our 6 week delivery window and are working hard to close the gap for this model. Thanks for your patience.

We are already closing that gap with Rogers' Rangers and Vietnam Field Grade models....

Our goal is to have it all on the shelf or two weeks max, and I expect we will have that worked out with all of our models by the end of first quarter 2002.
 
Ordered Nov. 22,Called ATC,Spoke to Suzzane (sp?).She's suposed to be finding out for me.
 
I know how you feel Stoneage. I have talked to Susan (sp?) a couple of times. She is so polite that it's hard to get bent out of shape. Smart move on Mr. Prisco part, put the most polite person in your costumer service department.

Mr. Prisco thank you for your reply. I will be patient and wait for that big brown truck to arrive. I really don't mind the wait, seeing how you put Military and Law Enforcment as priority. I do have some friends that are over there in Afghanistan and some that are getting ready to deploy over there. I am also a LEO, but my purchase is for personal use and not law enforcement use yet.

Go to the knife exchange,in the for sale production knives:deales forum, 2thehilt posted on 12/20/01 that he has 10 RR spike hawks ready to ship.
I ordered on Nov.22 (thanksgiving),my credit card was promptly charged on the 23,I got the card bill 2 weeks ago and it has been paid off,ATC made sure they got their money. That's $162(including shipping) I could've used to pay off a gun I have on layaway.
It took two calls (my dime) to find out the status of my order.It'll ship sometime next week,by my count that'll be seven weeks.
I'm also concerned about quality,If ATC is running fullbore and playing catch up,What are the chances of getting a poor quality product?
Sorry for the rant,yes I'm a little annoyed at the moment.
 
Yes i got mine, Thanks Andy. But UPS really sucks anymore, my hawk was shipped on the Dec 20th like Andy told me and did not get here until Jan 3rd ! Now i know the holidays slow things up but hell USPS is faster than that and they suck !
