I just sent another email begging Shavru to check in and give us a sitrep. I note she checked in last on 9-4 but I think I speak for everyone when I say that is not enough. We need a post now and then.

I was just checking my list of cyber brides, she's still on the list even though she is the first and only one that so far has ever rejected me. I still tear up thinking about it now and then.

Might be time to form a search party, locate and administer a spanking. I know she's in driving distance for me but it's a pretty large haystack to search.

Sooooo, Shavru if your checking on us stealthily save me a bunch of durn grief and speak a few words.

If you still want to see other people and get a restraining order for ole bawanna, that's ok, we just need to know your ok, OK?

Speaking of which I was gonna make another proposal, I think I'll ring her up and do that now whilst I got my courage all worked up.

Report back later.

Wish me good luck or not, don't think I'll need it. Charm, good looks, and humbleness are my attributes.

Well boys and girls I got an email from Shavru's husband, no death threats or implied harm, boy am I lucky.
I guess my spidy senses are still working. I attach his direct response for your viewing pleasure.
I did suggest maybe a visit if it might work out. It's a far piece to where I think she is but if it cheers her up some, worth it in every way if needed.

"Bawanna,

My name is Brett, I am Melissa’s husband and have been checking Melissa’s email every once in a while since she has been out. I told her the other day that you sent an email and she asked me to send you a reply for her but I have to admit I forgot until reading your second email. She wanted me to pass on the info that she was doing OK and should be back in a few more weeks. She has another episode of the Pancreatitis that she has been fighting for the last half dozen years. I am sure they will be releasing her soon and once she is back home, I am certain she will be checking back in with the Himalayan Import forum “family” as she calls you guys."

So I reckon we've been sending a lot of smoke prayers and good thoughts of late, guess we best add Shavru to the list, plenty of love here for everybody I think.

Dammit I was wishing for a happier reason for the absence. We are so fragile.

More smoke and prayers in the way.

Uggggh!! Pancreatitis! Thats horrible painful stuff! Smoke up for ya Shav. Your one heeluva strong person if youve been fighting that for years. My wife had that and they had to pump her up with so much pain meds I thought we were going to loose her one time.

Yeah my wife went through it last year too. 10 days in a downtown hospital. I don't know what was more traumatic, being in the hospital for 10 days or driving down there everyday to visit.
So far no relapses and hope we don't have any.

Same here and thanks for update....this second search for lost love happened right about the time i was preparing to bump your first post back to the top of the pile for visibility in case she cruised past....glad to hear of update but hate the circumstances of the debilitating and painful condition, and prayers also for healing....

And, boy, with her husband reading her email and replying, i sure am glad you didn't send any of those nekkid nife pitchers....

Oh man, smoke and prayers up for Shavru! She's one tough lady, she'll pull through like she always does.
