Where to buy a cheap neodyium magnet for cleaning stones?

I'm too lazy to wash my stones when the metal collects on top, so I use a ferrite magnet instead. I want to upgrade to a stronger neodyium one. Where can one buy a big one for cheap?

Get them free out of old dead hard drives. There are two VERY powerful magnets inside each one. I use them when making inverted carry sheaths as two will hold the heaviest fixed blade securely without requiring retaining straps. Even jumping down from an 8-foot fence doesn't dislodge the knives.

I would like to see pictures of your magnet sheaths.

Thank you.

X2, my Dad has a tonne of old hard drives and he takes the magnets out of the ones that don't work anymore.

Be careful when disassembling a hard drive, these magnets are tricky little things, and they like to snap on your fingers !

I have never raised quite so many blood blisters as when trying to handle these magnets! Especially when I have a bunch of them together. Snap all over my fingertips!! LOL!!!

As for photos of them in sheaths, sorry but they can't be seen. I cut out a section of the back wall of the sheath, (usually 7-9oz. vegi tanned leather,) put in two or three magnets laying flat side by side, and embed them in 'ShooGoo.' This keeps them flat and in place. Once the rubber has hardened I cover the back wall with a thin sheet of garment leather just to protect the blade and make the overall sheath look nicer. Then I just assemble the sheath as usual. As I usually want inverted carry sheaths to be as thin and flat as possible, I use a two piece (with spline) assembly rather than wrap-around. Rock-solid carry but it can magnetize the blade.
