Where to buy a Condor Bolo Machete?

I'm looking for a carbon steel machete and no one seems to have them in stock. :(

Does anyone have one of these and if so, where did you get it?

Apparently these guys have a scant 3 of them in stock! If I hadn't just picked up a couple of Collins machetes just the other day I'd be snagging one for myself!

Thanks, 42B. Maybe someone can snap those up. I don't get my Social Security check until the 18th. If there are any left then, I'll be looking at them. For the terrain I travel in I like the bolo much better than the golok (although I want one of those, too).

Yeah, I've been eye-balling the bolo for a while now. Hopefully the supply issue will be fixed by the time I'm allowed ("Ugh! What do you need another machete for?" :p) to buy another machete.

42B - you shouldn't have to ever buy another Condor again! With all the praise you give their fine tools on this web site, I would think they would be giving you those things for free!

The Marbles Bolo is made by Imacasa, the parent company of Condor. I'm not sure that Condor offers a carbon steel bolo. The Marbles is carbon steel and seems to be available at several internet stores including Knifecenter.

Yes, Condor does offer a carbon steel bolo, and it is sweet. While Cold Steel may make some decent machetes, many of us really want the new Condor carbon steel bolo. Did I mention that the Condor bolo is really sweet?

The Condor Bolo in stainless is a darned fine machete, too. Having used carbon steel machetes for many years, I was skeptical of machetes made in 420HC. No longer. I have several Condors in 420HC and they have been great performers. And they have the added bonus of not rusting. Their stainless steel machetes are plenty tough and easy to sharpen.

Oh man, I wish! It'd be like I'd died and gone to heaven! :D

Oh hell yeah it's sweet.

I couldn't find a Bolo when I was looking so I got the El Salvador instead. I am actually pretty glad that I did. It really reminds me of the venerable Ontario machetes but with a much better edge straight out of the box. I had mine out last weekend and was giddy as I showed my wife how I could easily snap cut 1.5" diameter branches.

That might be helpful if someone were looking for a Cold Steel machete. The poster is looking for a Condor carbon steel bolo machete... and so am I. The problem is, no one seems to have them in stock yet.

Sorry guys. Missed that part of the post.

I pre-ordered one about 4 months ago... Its been so long I cant even remember who I pre-ordered from. I've given up. I dont think its ever going to come.

Oh man, all these photos make me want one even more!

I have never heard about that site that was posted with the 3 bolos. Plus, I really would like to get a sheath with it just like Horn Dog.

I'm sure the stainless machetes are great, but I have my heart set on one of carbon steel.

I suppose I just have to wait like the rest of you until they are more commonly found.

Well, that's depressing! :(

Hopefully, whatever is holding them up gets remedied.
