where to buy a forge

I'm looking to buy a cheap forge but the only ones I can find are $300 plus is there any place out there that sells cheap forges or used forges thanks for the help.

Try building your own. It is quiet easy. An old hair dryer, steel tubing and some adobe will do. Go looking at

Hey, check this site out, it's Ron Reil's Golden Age Forge site. He has a ton of information on building forges and burners. I'm building a freon tank mini forge right now based on his design.

Also check out Don Foggs web site, it also has tons of information and his forge is great for bladesmithing, I used one this past weekend and had virtually no problem with scaling on the 52100 I was working with. I don't know his web address but you can find it easily enough. Good luck!-Guy Thomas
