during the summer here it tends to be really hot and humid and ive started using hammocks and other allternatives to tents. i blew out my old jungle hammock [it was cheap ] and id like to get a new one that is better quality . please help point me in the right direction . thanks in advance.

you cant go wrong with the hennessy hammock. its a little expensive but its worth it.

I have heard of a couple of issues with Hennesey but the overwhelming opionion is excellent.

thanks guys didnt know such good hammocks were out there. really like those hennesy ones and i think ive narrowed it down as to wich one im gonna get.

A good hammock is the Vietnam-era military jungle hammock--where, quite obviously--folks began to call them jungle hammocks. It's a M-1965 Tropical Hammock. All nylon, mosquito netting, no rain cover (use your poncho). Most folks who have seen a military hammock have usually encountered the older canvas WWII version. Not even the same league. The Vietnam ones were never plentiful, and seem to be downright rare now. If you find one, you'll understand why they're generally not for sale.

i really like the clark ones but they are a little pricey. looks like a hennesy for me so far .
