Where to buy a good tomahawk drift?

I'm looking to buy a tomahawk drift but the ones I see on Amazon seem to have a lot of bad reviews. Can anyone tell me a good place to buy one ? Also, do you recommend ductile iron or a steel drift? Thanks

In the past most Bladesmiths / Blacksmiths made drifts and other tools needed, most still do and a drift is about as basic as it gets...
Obviously I'm assuming you want an eye drift to forge a Tomahawk? If you have the ability to make a Tomahawk an eye drift should be really, really easy to make.

Apologies if I'm making assumptions that don't apply, meaning you want the drift for something else! 😉

I made mine from a piece of Toyota front stabilizer bar. I should have held out for a Chevy one, but there I was at the wrecking yard and the guy said, “Take it, we got lots of those.”

I started to make my own but I was limited on the amount of coal I had and it was easier to buy one. And I was wanting to make the wrapped eye ax more than the tool. Lol
