I would like to ask if anybody can suggest where i can buy a kukri made in nepal? i live in europe, greece to be precise. i was looking at the jungle king and the jungle supreme plus from www.khukuriblades.com . are there any sellers for these blades in europe? i like a more modern handle on a kukri. maybe you guys can suggest some other blades along these lines along with some some european sellers.otherwise i'll order one of the two mentioned above.

Thank you.

I've have a few from Himalayan Imports and have gifted one and they have been great I would highly recommend them, they have a section of this forum you can learn all about them there.

Himalayan Imports! No question about it. I have two from them and they are absolutely the best. I bought both from "Uncle Bill" on my simple word that I'd send a check. There were no order forms or anything. He simply sent them off to me and trusted in my integrity. With him, a man's Word was his bond. I still mourn his passing. However, his wife, Yangdu, continues his business, and from all I know, there has been no diminishment in quality.

These khukuris they sell can be either showpieces or used in the field without restraint. I recently took down a palm tree with one of mine. Trust me when I say that it wasn't fun. However, the khukuri was extraordinarily effective.

Give H.I. your business. They are an honorable company with a knowledgeable following in their forum here. Prices are more than reasonable and they do good things with their proceeds for the people of Nepal.

Himalayan Imports all the way. I have several and have given several away as gifts and they seem to hold up extremely well under use.

You cannot go wrong with a Himalayan Import Kukri. However, if you are looking for a dealer in Europe I believe torablades makes a very high quality product as well.

Himalayan Imports hands down. Get the "unbreakable knife" the 16.5" Chirawa Ang Khola. 1/2" thick beast...and it's traditional. Show it off or beat it to hell. M43 - 18" Monster yet balanced and handy.

Himalayan Imports hands down.
