So, I went to the Busse home page, and they just have the ASH knives available. Are there any other's available from Busse or retailers? I don't want to buy a 2nd hand one, only new.

Most often, "second hand" is the best way to go. Not many in my collection are direct from the company, more often than not I got my stuff from sellers on this forum and yes they came better than described in all cases. Not once have I been dissappointed in my dealings with second hand stuff. You ought to give it a try. :)

on second thought, disreguard, I'm giving away my best kept secret!

DONT BUY SECOND HAND!!! Leave that to the professionals! Dont try this at home!!!! :D

Go to the last couple of pages at the company store. I think people often dont really know to look past the first page. The knives are usually on the last page and if there are enough to choose from, the last 2 pages will have knives for sale. Lately there have been more for sale at the company store than there has been for a very long time so now is a good time to be in the market. Busse Combat typically only sells one model at a time so what you are seeing there is the norm.
A patient buyer can sometimes find new pieces on the exchange that are priced very close to the same price paid direct from Busse. Lots of the exchange knives have never cut anything but air so they are definetely not used. I have found the folks there to be very honest about disclosing any flaw or deterioration. I have both bought and sold many there so don't leave the exchange out if you are looking to buy.

Good hunting

I have had nothing but a great experience on the exchange. If they tell you it's mint and unused then that's what you are getting. Just like from the factory..
