Where is the best place to buy a cammenga military compass? There are good deals on ebay, but some seem to cheap to be legit. Thanks

If you live near an Army base, you might see if you can hit a GI up to get you one at the Clothing Sales Store (some sell some field gear, depending on the base), which is where I got mine when I was in the service.
I've tried looking online for some other bits of military kit, but I can't ever seem to find legit stuff, just knock offs. Though with the compass, you would probably have better luck since you have the name brand.

I just bought a Camminga wrist compass from www.rocgear.com. Just Google 'Camminga' for more hits than you can shake a stick at.

I would say go to thecompassstore.com, Ive bought from them before and they've been great. Check Amazon too, they got a good price on the phosphorescent (no tritium). If you want tritium they got it for a bit more.
But IMO I would try ebay, You'll probably get the best price there. But for this compass I would only stick with the sellers who are "top rated sellers". Also be sure to buy a Cammenga in the right zone. Ask the seller if it is for the North America zone (or whatever part of the world you will be using it) before buying, It should be. If they don't know or won't tell you then try another buyer.
You have to be careful on Ebay, also I would only buy this from a seller in the US.

as I can remember they don't sell the tritium ones in the exchange on base at least on any base I have been on. and if you do get a tritium one check the date before you buy to make sure it still glows.

Ive ordered from them at leats 3 times. Super fast shipping, good prices. Get the phosph one. Dont waste $$ on the tritium. Unless your planning on doing a ton of night ops. Even then the Phosph is good to go.

+1 Get the phosphorus. The tritium is nice but it won't last forever, after the tritium decays it will work just like a regular phosphorus anyway.
