does anyone have a source for Cold Steel Sure Balance Thrower for cheap? I saw before that (( not a paid Bladeforums dealer )) use to have them on sale for 12-13 bucks but now adays everyone wants 18+ bucks for 1. cant figure out why the price jumped so much. well that and im trying to find some place to order from which wont rip me a new one for shipping (i saw one place which was charging $12.5 but wanted 57 dollars for shipping via usps mail...).

the cheapest place i could find is (( not a paid Bladeforums dealer )) although it turns out they are out of stock so I gotta wait for a back order. Hopefully they dont screw me and actually send this item to me in the next 30 days. I bought 6 and you get a deal if you order 3 at a time.

KnifeCenter $15 ships 10 days (by their estimation). YourCornerStore did have the lowest Prices when I bought mine but it didn't work out well and I had to cancel the order. 6 is a good number to order unless you are trying to get an aerobic workout.

yeah, yourcornerstore had an awesome deal and free shipping for orders over 100 bucks and I really should have bought from them when they had it in stock. they havent had any instock for like 9+months though so i guess they are never gonna get any back in stock.

just got in my Cold Steel Sure Balance Thrower and holy hell I'm quite surpised at how damn heavy these are! I mean I had read these were heavier but I really underestimated them. not only the weight but they are nearly 2X as wide as my old Cold Steel Sure Flight Thrower and I'm now questioning if I can hurl these things the ususal 17-26 feet I ususally throw at for long durations (I ususally throw for like an hour or so but that was with my Cold Steel Sure Flight Throwers)... having 6 should be a lot more fun and much less running back and forth.

I gotta also come up with some kinda thicker/more sturdy backstop as my old setup was just a plywood board leaned against a pipe with a wide base on the bottom which was already getting eaten up and would occationally fall over. i think after about 20 or 30 throws with these new bad boys, it will be shreaded to hell and I know one hit will def knock it over.

Oh well, http://www.atlantacutlery.com/ did come thru in the end and did get me these knifes at the best price I could find after searching for about 3 month or so. I'll post up more reviews as soon as I actually do some throwing with them.

Sorry, missed this one. If you want more CS throwers, try (( not a paid Bladeforums dealer )) next time. 13.50 there, and great customer service.

good find but it says Next Shipment ETA:Backordered - No ETA is Available. I was glad to at least get the ones from http://www.atlantacutlery.com in under two weeks.

i guess the point here is to make sure they have them instock by calling and checking or you may never get what you ordered...

Deal-spotting: recommending a dealer who is is not a paid Bladeforms Dealer member. Bladeforums paid members support this site. Allowing recommendations for their competitors who do not undercuts both our dealers and Bladeforums itself.

If you want to recommend a dealer who is not a paid member here, recommend to them that they join.

Deal-spotting is an infraction violation.
