Where to buy Delica/Endura trainers?

Has anyone purchased a trainer for either the Delica or the Endura? I have heard that they are out, but I haven't been able to find them anywhere. If anyone knows where to buy one online, please let me know. Also, if anyone has used one in training, please tell me how well it functions (for drills, light sparring, etc.).

Thanks in advance for your input,
Fedaykin

The trainers are pretty scarce outside of SFO. I've heard from a couple of dealers that limited numbers are making it into the distributor pipeline, and those disappear quickly.

Suppy and demand I guess. As much as I'd like to get my hands on a pair, my frugal nature tells me to wait until some of the Net dealers begin stocking them, versus paying close to suggested retail.

Give the folks at Knives Plus a call at 1-800-687-6202. I just ordered my Delica trainer Monday. I think it was $42.95 or something like that.

Just came in today. Ordered Monday, received today, not bad. Funny thing tho, I ordered both the Delica trainer, and a new Plain-edge Delica. The trainer came with both the David Boye cut-out on the lock AND the re-enforcing around the clip area. The regular Delica only had the re-enforced clip well, the lock was the same one as my older Delica. I guess these are running changes with the Delica/Endura line. Bummer, I was hoping for the 2000 model. Oh well, its still a Delica, and now I just have to find someone to train with!

I noticed earlier this morning that Knifecenter of the Internet has both Endura and Delica trainers.
