Where to buy DMT for Edgepro and blanks

Anyone know a site that sells both the DMT mounted stones for the edgepro and also sells glass and aluminum blanks. I dont want to pay shipping for 2 places
 
You could always do as I did. Just buy 25 blanks on your next order from from Ben Dale, and you'll have a good supply for a very long time. :thumbup:

Another poster here made me two dozen blanks about three years ago. He made several of them in different widths so I could make wider stones and strops, narrower ones for recurves, etc. His brother had a machine shop and he was able to just set one of the machines to chop of lengths of aluminum with slight bevels at each end.

Sure you can, but sometimes we want to have different stones, different strops, different sizes, etc. at the same time. With extra blanks, as soon as you come up with a new idea for an abrasive, you're ready to go! :thumbup:

Exactly! I have several blanks with locally cut extra thick glass on them. Several are in the process of having thin balsa wood installed for for "wood" stropping with .25 and .1 micron diamond spray.

I reuse my blanks, but I still never seem to have enough of them! :p
