Where to buy Hudson Bay pattern handles?

I have a Council Tool Hudson Bay axe with a 28" handle. I took a nice chip out of the handle today hear the head...
Do I have to use a special handle on a Hudson Bay pattern? Any good places to get one for a decent price?

I think you can use a standard boy's axe handle. Also, Council sells replacement handles for many of their products.

The axe handles sold around here never match with the eyes of any of the old Canadian axe heads I have. I learned already long ago to use a rasp to reshape oversized hafts. Lucky for you Hudson Bay are small eyed and whatever suitable handle you come across can be made to fit via application of elbow grease.

I have a Norlund Hudson Bay axe, and it fits a 28" straight handle from House with very little work.
