Where to buy large quantity of MOP pieces

All,

I would like to buy several pounds or gallons of MOP pieces. They don't need to be polished or of regular shape. Ideally I'd love to get whatever is left after scales and buttons are cut out... Looking for pieces not smaller than 1/4 in, preferably a little bigger.

Would anyone know of a place where I might be able to find this?

What do you want to do with them? What grade are you looking for. I cut up about twenty nice abalone shells last winter for the MOP and chucked pounds of the trimmings. I'll check and see if there is a box of the smaller pieces still around.

Get with the guys at "The MOP Company" .They are always on The Exchange. They are nice chaps, and could be a source for what you want.
