Where to buy Nylon 6/6 MDS?

I've seen a bunch of threads about sticks made of synthetics, but I don't know where to buy the raw material. Many posts on this and other forums have suggested buying locally, but no one around here (that I could find) carries it. Does anyone know of a online or mail order source that would sell me 6' - 10' of 6/6 Nylon MDS rod in 3/4" diameter? Also, shipping via US Postal Service is a plus, since it would cost more than the Nylon itself to ship here via UPS or FedEx.

I'm on the waiting list at Eric Blair's for a pair of F-stix, and I'm waiting on a reply from the Stickman site, but I'd still like to get my hands on some plain rod, to play with.
 
OK, I sort of answered my own question. I called Multi-Craft Plastics (http://www.multicraftplastics.com/) in Oregon, as suggested by Phil Elmore, and they had no problem selling me only 10' of 3/4" Nylon MDS. The cost for 10' (I believe that 10' is the minimum, but I could be wrong) is $15.30, and they charged me $2.50 to cut it into 2' sections.

The only problem is that, like all the companies I contacted, Multi-Craft only ships UPS. The 10' of MDS would cost around $25 to ship here via UPS Second Day Air, the cheapest alternative that UPS offers to Hawaii. So I ended up sending it to my buddy's place in Las Vegas via UPS Ground for around $6, and I'll have him send it to me via USPS, probably for $6 more. It'll take about 2 weeks to get here, but I cut the shipping cost in half.

If anyone knows a company that sells this stuff, and will ship via US Postal Service, I'd still like to know.
