Where to buy Swamp Rat Knives?

I am getting back into knife collecting/using as hobby again after a long time away from this pursuit. I am very interested in buying some swamp rat knives. However, I am totally confused as to where I can go to buy them. I have visited several websites that I thought were associated with swamp rat and I cannot find an area on the site where I can purchase. Or, there was only one model available for sale (Hairy Carry).

Also, is it possible to change handles if a swamp rat is purchased on the used market?

The Hairy Carry is, as far as I know, the only Swamp Rat available at the moment. You can sometimes find them for sale over in the Swamp Rat/Scrap Yard/Busse for sale forum on this site. Mods, if this is incorrect, feel free to edit. Actually I hope I'm wrong, because that would mean that Swamp Rat has more knives available than the HC.

Thanks for the information. There must be tremoundous demand for their products if they only have one knife available.

There is demand but production is a bit slow right now. It seems that the folks at Swamp Rat are not always informed of when products are coming, I believe its because they share manufacturing facilities with Busse Combat and Scrapyard Knives.

I take mild offense at Masterofburritos comment but due to the lack of Swamp Rat knives and the equal lack of info on new releases I can't counter his remark. I'm going to think positive on this point and imagine a 7th year Anniversary re-release of the Battle Rat with Canvas Micarta® grips. Dwayne will make a limited number of appropriate fine leather sheaths to commemorate the occasion and there will be a really cool Swamp Rat Battle Rat challenge coin available at the Swamp Rat Store. A man can dream.

I am fond of full flat grinds and would like Rec-C also. Though I have to admit that the G10 and micarta look nicer (an perhaps sell better because of this).

Is someone going to give the guy some info on the availability of these knives or what?
