So i have knife design that i have fallen in love with in mind but cannot find exactly what i want from any makers. I am wondering about the custom route but dont know who to talk to or the cost involved. The design is a small spearpoint style bowie, around a 3.5 inch blade, very similar to the GEC H10 but with a spearpoint blade instead of a clip. Any advice would be really helpful.

I dont really know what something like that would cost, im not familiar with customs but i would say somewhere around $500-$600 that being flexible if i am way off the mark.

You'll find that the price for a custom knife will vary widely from maker to maker depending on a whole bunch of factors. Generally speaking however, I would say your budget is appropriate for what you're looking for.
Although you might get lucky and have a knife maker that wants to take on your project respond to your thread here, I would suggest another route as well. Seek out knife makers that already make knives similar to the style and construction type you want and contact them directly. You can find some here in the Knife Maker's Gallery, you can find lots of them on Instagram and you can look them up other places as well.
