I've been tossing around the idea of customizing my Endura SS. What I want is pretty simple to visualize but I haven't the slightest clue of who or where to go to get the work done.
Basically, I want to swap the blade out with my FRN one, gotta have the VG-10 on my SS model. Then I want the handle tapped and threaded for ambidex carry. Then I want the whole handle filed in a diamond pattern for grip (except for where the belt clip rides). Then I want the whole thing including the beltclip and blade Ti-Ni Rainbow Anodized.
I'm from Lake Charles, Louisiana. There isn't a custom knifemaker anywhere near my area (yellowpages don't even have a knife listing). Who would do that kind of work and what kind of expense am I looking at?
