Recommendation? Where to find CRK Lg Seb 31 Hardware?

So ... like a bonehead ... I snapped the head off the small blade stop screw. The remainder of the screw is still lodged inside the stop pin and I cannot get it out. I did this trying to mess with blade centering after installing an aftermarket scale, purchased off ebay, which it's tolerances appear similar to stock but they aren't. Enough whining about my stupidity ...

Anyways ... I've decided to swap all of the hardware and get something anodized with color. I go on the hunt for new hardware and all I can find is hardware for a Seb 21. All of the hardware is the same on a 21 and 31 except for a longer blade stop screw. From reading up about the differences - some say not to use Seb 21 hardware on a Seb 31 and others say Seb 21 does not fit the same.

Can someone please tell me where I can purchase Lg Seb 31 specific hardware?

Thanks.

Contact CRK. They can take care of you one way or anoher. Some parts they will mail out, some you need to send the knife in.

Send it to CRK and let them fix it for you. You will be out of your knife for 8 weeks, but it will be done right. If they do a spa treatment then it will look new when it comes back.

The consensus appears to be send back to CRK. I was hoping to replace all hardware in matte black for a sinister look. The only color hardware on the CRK website is either silver or blue.

Thanks all for your help.

Since you mention anodizing, I assume you may be looking for aftermarket Ti hardware. What color are you going for? If you just want bronze I suggest just getting the stock hardware and flaming it. That's what I did with mine. IMO this is not the knife to go with aftermarket parts.

EDIT: Ah, I see your response while I was typing

I didn't see that as an option on the CRK website. Can you post a pic of your knife so I can see it assembled with bronze hardware? Thx

Sorry, I should have been more clear, but just got home from a long day. I did it myself with the standard steel hardware. Bronze is a pretty easy color to get on steel with a flame. You can use a torch but I just did mine on my gas stove. You can get other colors too, but they tend to be more tricky to dial in. Bronze just takes a little heat. It's not as good as Ti anodization, but it works good enough for me.

Here's mine (with scales that I anodized with a power source)

I like that ... something different than cookie-cutter. 👍🏼 Thanks for sharing.

I would have a devil of a time getting that broken screw out of the stop pin. I've tapped and removed bolts at various points in life, but never anything that small. Not saying it can't be done, just that it would be a pain in the arse.

I believe that the stop pin is custom fit at the factory. You can't buy one in the parts kit. So, unless you can remove the screw, you'll have to send it back to CRK, regardless of any future mods you may make.

I thought the stop pin is a fit item and they would normally want the knife. That is what CRK's parts page says.

It is, used to be a sleeve and now it’s a double shear bolted assembly.
