Where to find factory digi cam scales for PM2

Greetings all. I have recently acquired a new PM2 in black G10 with the plain satin blade. I went back and forth between this model and the digi camo one and decided that I may grow tired of the camo pattern if it was on the knife all the time, so I settled for the plain version. That said I would really like to buy a set of factory Spyderco digi camo scales for this knife to put on and take off whenever I want to change it up a bit. My question is can I just call Spyderco and buy these separate and if not does anyone have any suggestions as to where I may find a set.

Thanks and just want to add that I'm fairly new to the knife collecting and this site has been great so far. I've acquired quite a few blades in the last 4 months since getting bit by the "knife bug" and it's been with the help of blade forums that I've been able to figure out what I wanted and really make some educated decisions. Thanks again and hope to someday have the knowledge to be able to help out new people such as myself.
 
I have not heard if they do it either. I wouldn't think so. I'm pretty sure the only way to get factory scales is through some sort of warranty work on an already purchased PM2.
 
You can watch the exchange or maybe try a wanted to buy thread. There are several options for custom scales out there, so I've seen stock scales up for sale a few times.

Kind of funny. When I got my first Para2 they were super scare and constantly selling out as soon as dealers got any in stock. I finally just jumped on the first one I could, which was camo/satin. At the time, I really wanted camo with a black blade, which after a few months I still couldn't find.

I finally managed to find a dealer with the all black model in stock and jumped on one figuring I could do a scale swap, get my black on camo and sell the satin/black.

But then I got got it and couldn't bring myself to mess with the sweet, sweet perfection :cool:

By then I was used to the satin/camo as my trusty user anyway.

I just received a black DLC w/black scales that I bought from the exchange. It is pretty sweet!!

To the OP, as already said, I'd keep my eye on the exchange for a set. There's enough people installing aftermarket scales that I'm sure they come up from time to time.
 
Spyderco does not sell scales. Lots of aftermarket scale options out there though. Maybe look into that or try to get a set from somebody who went the custom route. If I were you and was set on the digi cam I would just buy another para2. Custom scales aren't cheap.

Just ordered a digi cam para 2. This knife thing has really been putting a hurt on my wallet. Lol
 
I've got a pair of the digi cam scales I took off a PM2 that I customized. You can have them if you'll pay for the shipping.

Let me see if I can cancel my order. I would much rather pay for shipping than to buy a whole other knife. I'll let you know in a few minutes. Thanks for the generosity.

The payment already went thru on the digi cam pm2 so I'm not going to mess around with cancelling the order now. Go ahead and let 12thman have them. He will get better use out of them now. Wish I would've waited a bit longer. Very nice of you to offer that though Mike. Thanks and have a great day.

Don't feel too bad man, it's an awesome knife. I've got two so I have a backup.
Mike, no worries if you want to keep your extra scales. But if you DO want to part with them I'd be happy to have 'em. :)

This has been a hell of a ride now. I just got an email saying that the original black scaled pm2 that was supposed to be shipped out today is out of stock and they are refunding my money. So now I'm stuck with a digi cam and no black. So if you have any black scales I would be interested in those now. My head hurts after today.
