Where to find Farid Mehr

I’m just wondering if anyone knows where to find Ferid Mehr Knives and if he is still making knives. Thinking about getting a Mini K2 custom. Seen some at knifecenter but it’s not a mini.
 
KC lists the Mini K2 as discontinued.

But a secondhand will pop up now and again on the sales forum.

I bought a Spyderco K2 (from KC IIRC) and had hoped for a Spyderco Mini K2, as that would be an awesome knife.

Talks about it was underway after a hiatus but then sadly it seems there was some sort of falling out and I believe the project got cancelled.

Too bad, as I would have liked a Spyderco Mini K2.
 
So it sounds like he’s not making them anymore or he does small batches?

Does he have a forum somewhere. Would really like to find out more about him.
 
I am still making my K2, I make batches of Large, mini and at some stage this year I will be releasing the Micro K2 in cpm-4v
I do not have a forum of my own on here, I gave up after asking a bunch of times over a 18 month period. around 4 years ago.

Hi, in the next few days I will be finishing a few mini K2 with a fuller machined on one side of the blade, the first batch of it's kind.
This year I will be posting lots of pics on instagram and and lots of YouTube movies.

The K2 is a beast - I like it.

Is the Farid Mehr - Spyderco Mini K2 unequivocally off the table?

Hi Farid. Thank you so much for responding to me. I’ll have to look you up on Instagram for when these mini K2s drop.
 
I have registered the Instagram account and my YouTube but not ready just now to go out there, it is not visible yet, when I have gathered pics of the new knives I like to show then I will upload a bunch of them for everyone.

Farid I am looking for Cpm Rex steel. Like many have asked befor me. “Do you currently have any CPM Rex steel for sale” I am looking for 2 inch by 12 inch by 1/4 inch or something around that size. Please let me know. Thank you
