Where to find Shirogorov?

I'm looking to buy a Shirogorov with AXIS lock and preferably S90V. I have tried contacting them by email but don't know Russian and they never responded. It also looks like there is only one dealer in the US and they never seem to have any and the old sold ones aren't AXIS lock.

I have placed a wanted to buy thread with no luck. Anyone have an idea on how to track one down?
 
I am not sure they produce "AXIS" lock models anymore. That could be the reason why they did not answer your e-mail, besides them being notoriously bad with answering any e-mails or phone even in Russian.
I think your chances of getting exactly what you want are extremely slim. And I am not sure they would mail that "AXIS" model to US. As for finding an old knife fitting your strict specification: you need a Russian speaker to go to Russian internet site ( http://forum.guns.ru/forumtopics/94.html and/or http://forum.guns.ru/forumtopics/331.html ) try to find it, negotiate for you, agree payments and shipments...
I would suggest you to check with American dealer what he could do for you and go from there.

P.S. I checked the info: they indeed still produce some " modified axis lock" models": sorry about not being accurate in my earlier response.

Thanks for the info so far. It's good to know they are still producing some with the AXIS. I will contact the dealer and see if he can request something. But the fact I have never seen him with one in stock, and they are all frame locks is not encouraging.

I think my best bet will be finding one an individual is selling. I guess it will just take time and searching. But if anyone else has a suggestion, I'm all ears (eyes?).

Tnk is best place to get 1 but im in the same boat as u they dont get the mode l I like
You can order direct n they do have auctions on their site but I dont think they will ship to us due to customs and their mailing/postal is supposed to take ages to get
best you can do is make wtb threads, find an individual thats selling, offer a killer premium to someone, or go to a show
