I have been thinking about getting a sebenza But wouldn't mind getting a non damaged used one. I tried searching on Ebay and google but didn't get many results. I figure if I buy used I won't have to cry when I put the first couple of scratches on the knife.

I have to go with what IamMatt said, ebay is a good source. You could also check out the Chris Reeve section of knifeforums.com. I got a real nice 1993 vintage Sebenza off of there about a month ago.

Definitely keep checkin eBay! I just scored a barely used Small Regular Sebenza last week and I couldn't be happier! I too wanted to get one that had already been "used" no matter how little, so I wouldn't freak with that first scratch or whatever. You can save some money if you are patient! :)

There is a "Knives Wanted" sub-forum here at BFC located in the Knife Exchange area. I suggest that you post a message stating what you want and see what happpens. Good luck. ;)

I guess I will just have to keep my eyes open. You would think there would be a store that would sell used ones. I mean when you get into higher quality/more expensive items there's usualy a pretty good sized secondary market.

I just think that Chris Reeve knives, particularly the Sebenza, are so AWESOME that very few people ever want to give them up! I know I don't plan on ever parting with either my Large Classic or my Small regular. I have lots more knives I can sell if I ever need the cash! Good Luck in your hunt, and I promise you you won't be sorry when you do find your first one!

Hello Will:

I have purchased all of my Chris Reeve knives in face to face transactions at local gun and/or knife shows. Obviously, this has the added benefit of trying before buying.

A plain sebbie came up forsale just a week or so ago for $225 in the forsale forum here. You just have to be patient and check often.
