First I wanna start off with saying I purchased the Ken Onion Work Sharp, and used it last night. I have decided it isn't for me, and most likely will return it, or sell it at a discount (that's not what this thread is about though). I inadvertantly scratched both sides of my Sebenza 25, and never really got a decent edge on it. Lack of patience, skill, practice, I don't know. I also managed to blunt the tip, as is apparently common. I practiced on a few knives beforehand, and built up the confidence to try it out. It's a user anyway, so no real big loss. I ended up using my SharpMaker and strop, and got it popping hair. Go figure..
Anyway, I'm in the market for a Wicked Edge, and honestly had been before the WSKO. I had read all the reviews and threads on here (about the WS) and it seems it's quite capable. In capable hands. NOT mine haha. So if anyone could point me to where the best deal is, or the best bang for buck package, I'm all ears. I know there will be some who say "why not get the Edge Pro?", so I just wanna say I'd rather not get that, I want the WE. Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated! Thank you...
