where to find?

i've figured out which tool i'm buying (for the kid). i only have a couple days left to get it done. i can NOT find it, anywhere, and was hoping one of you could point me in the right direction.

i need a Victorinox Spirit (not the "s", i want the one with scissors) in black.

the only place i've found one, so far, is on Vic's site and they want retail.

anybody know a good place to look?

nah, i really want to get the one with the scissors. i checked KW, after reading this, they don't have one either.

it looks like i'm gonna have to decide between "black" or "scissors", i don't think i'm gonna be able to get both

Have you asked Tim (Felinevet)? He may not have them listed on the site but it's well worth asking as his turnover of stock often means the site isn't up to date.

You will never find a "Black" Swisstool or Swisstool Spirit with scissors because Victorinox does not produce "Black" tools with scissors.

Why? I´m not sure but is has something to do with the black oxide finish in the scissors that will not work.
