Does anyone know of any sources? I really want one of the stonewashed ATS-34 versions, but I am sure they are hard to come by.

Try Pioneer Valley knife. They had some on Blade Auction about a year or so ago. They might be able to get hold of a used one (as far as I know they are now discontinued).

Just can't stay away from a thread that mentions the Fang. I've got an ATS-34 version complete w/ belt clip. I redid the edge and it is VERY sharp. Wrapped the handle in black paracord, too. Very nice, but alas, I was considering trading or selling it. Should I? I know I started the thread to keep these knives around, and I still do want them to be continued, but I just never carry this one around w/ me. I really can't use it for utility purposes (maybe a skinner?--I don't hunt), and the edge is now ground to a very thin, sharp configuration, really only designed for cutting flesh. Additionally, I'm averse to even using--that's how much I like it, I guess. Thus, it's a struggle. But if someone wants an ATS-34 version that bad, let me know, maybe we can work something out.

Since I retired the FrankenWoo (well, I still wear it on special occasions) I carry my ATS34 Fang all the time. I love it.

Thrawn, don't sell yours! (Unless it's to me!

Shootist, keep looking! Keep an eye on Ebay and BladeAuction. If I run across any, I'll post on the forums somewhere.

Sorry the4th, it might get sold, unless you're the one who wrote me last night. In any case, I can't carry fixed blades out here, and despite the fact that the Fang is an excellent knife (for defense), I simply never carry it. Ditto for my Desperado. I like both knives, but find that a folder is less threatening and more useful (b/c I can use it in front of others). In any case, I'm probably going to get rid of it (tear sheds).

Their great.
I have one of each. The ats34 in the jeep, and the 1095 on the dresser.
Great knives when you find a way to get them sharp.
Still haven't figured out how to make the paracord on the handle look and function well.

What? Another knife? Don't you have enough of those things already?
How many does one person need?
And just what are you going to do with this one that you can't do with the others?
What is the purpose of all these knives anyhow??
