Does anyone know where I can get one of these, preferabally the compact version. My father saw it in Guns magazine and I would love to get him one for his 70th birthday, which is coming up.

Birdie, try this place: www.tadgear.com . They have some really cool stuff and they are not crazy with prices like I find many "action gear" places are. I believe they have several Knights Arnament Knives on their web site. Good luck!

Looks like TAD is sold out of both models they normally stock. Anyone else have any ideas? As I am wanting one too.:)

First, are you talking about the SK Knight's Armament folding knife designed by steve ryan? If it is,I was looking for one a few months ago and found a (japanese)knife site that has them. Can't remember the site right now. But changed my mind after I did some more research and read some threads on the USN forums. It seems that quite a few people found quality and lockup problems with this knife. So try searching around some more, and good luck.

Just did a search for "Knight's Armament"
in Google. Be sure to use the quotes. Got a bunch of hits. Hope it helps.

most of the hits you get are for Knights Armament, a different company that is a producer of AR-15 parts and stuff. Did't realise how tough this was going to be, even the Japanese sites don't seem to offer much as to how to buy.

Shame it looked like a nice knife.

I think DenTrinity (an airsoft store in Hong Kong) had a Silver Knight, at least they had one last Christmas. Several other airsoft stores in that area had them in stock, with slashed prices. I'd previously seen them selling for US$350, but they didn't seem to be selling at all, so some places had them going for about US$270.

All of the places had only one knife in stock, and I bet that most of those knives are still sitting around. I saw one folder acquiring rust speckles, so you'll want to be very careful if you choose to order sight unseen.

Although I didn't see one there, you might want to ask Supreme Co. in Hong Kong. They seem to distribute most of the city's high end knives, so they might have connections to Knight's Armament in Japan.

Hey, DumboRAT, I remember your name from some airsoft forums I used to visit. Nice to see you here.

Allen is right, knightsknife has 3 links and one of those links is www.yamashita.org and they have the (compact) PK pocket knife for $351. It helps to type the website into the altavista babelfish online translator. It will at least half-ass translate the site into english. It worked enough for me to order from amazon.com japan. The only alternative would be to keep an eye out on all the forums and ebay 24/7. Sometimes the hardest gift to get,is the best gift to get.

You just missed it. I picked one up this last week right here on the production knives for sale by individual forum. I am anxiously awaiting its arrival.

Proedge (www.proedgeknives.com) has one in stock...at least they did at the CKG show last week :) (more Proedge pics in my review of the show on the custom forum)
