Hi everyone,

As the title states, i'm looking to possibly get after-market knife scales for my folders. I have a few folders that tend to have knife scales (Spyderco Delica, Endura, etc.). But they tend to be out of my price range. If you can share where I can get some knife scales for a decent price, please let me know!

Thomas.

This is a German company called Cuscadi. They have a website and they are very nice. They communicate quickly and have excellent quality.

Most inexpensive scales i have found are from RGT (ripps garage tech). I don't think he does the frn models though. But some of his blems/2nd's/clearance you can get cheap.

Thanks everyone, I'll probably save up and put the funds towards scales i'd really like down the road.

Just a suggestion. If money is tight, you could always try purchasing used stock scales from the exchange or ebay and play around with a Dremel, sandpaper, files, and/or some Rit dye. If you want to practice on an inexpensive yet high value knife, an Opinel folder is pretty inexpensive and gives you a lot of wood in the handle to try different things.

I can't post the name cause it's not a site sponsor but if you go to the GBU forum there is a thread active now about a pretty new scale maker, I've posted in it, think it has about 5 replies or so.

All very good experiences and his prices are unbeatable.

You could buy some g10 or micarta etc and if you have your own tools and respirator already, you can try and make some yourself. This guy on yt stassa23 did this.
