where to get heat treat oil

I thought that oil from a chevy would be better?

Are there stores that might carry it on the shelf? Maybe something like Fastenall type stores? Or maybe someplace that sells lubricants or deals with hydraulics? Is it labeled something else in other stores for other uses?

Thanks but I want the good stuff like parks or something of that nature ...
thats funny the neighbor's Toyota .. I need to check with Kelly again he has been out the last time I checked with him ... I was wondering if there was a new hot spot that had it in stock. thanks guys

I went to the list of knife supplies sticky and Kelly Cupples site is not on there .
That's not right we need to get him on there ... thanks again

As far as I know, Kelly Cupples doesn't have a website. I always just email him, octihunter@charter.net, for his current price list. He emails it right out.

When i first started out i used chevron ISO 22 light utility oil. this oil has good thermal transfer properties and the literature says that it can be used as a quenching oil. I had very good results with 52100 5160 using this oil.

Just got off the Phone with Maxim Oil
they are shipping 5 gal buckets of Parks 50 again if anyone needs it.
