Where to get new handle???

I just traded some knives on BF and as part of the deal I'm getting a WWII with a real nice blade, but the handle is cracked and the buttcap is not in the best shape, as the previous owner has told me.

What would be my best plan of action to get a new, preferably wood handle made for it???

Any help greatly appreciated!!

Roger

Roger, I am going to try my hand at putting a new handle on an old BAS blem. It might look awful, but it sounds like a fun project. I will let you all know how it turns out. I am going to start it this week. I am going to need a lot of luck.
Matthew-the super ugly one.

If it's going to be a "user", why not try super glue or epoxy. I've got an HI AK blem with a couple of "very big" cracks filled with epoxy in the horn handle, and it works great every spring & fall for the yard work.

If you want something that looks nice/new, Terry has a great reputation on this forum.

Thanks guys!
I've corresponded with Terry and I'll probably be letting him put a walnut handle on it for me...
