Where to get Satin finish Trailmaster

Where can I get a satin finish Cold Steel Trailmaster for preferably layaway generally 2-3 payments. I want Carbon V.

As far as I know the Carbon V version does not come in satin finish(and bras guard) anymore. It comes only in that black finish.
Only the San mai version comes in satin now.
You can probably still find it second hand though if you look.

i've heard that some people sandpaper off the black finish to get that satin finish
there was a thread where someone sent in an abused trailmaster to a custom maker and he prettied it up very nicely
can't remember where i saw it though, but it looked great
