Where to get started?

i want to make a multi-item pocket sheath for my xm-18, vic spirit x and hopefully a hinderer investigator pen. i want to try to wet form it but dont know where to start. whats the best place to get the materials online and could anyone be kind enough to list some of the things i will need? thanks

http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/ They have a variety of different kits you can learn from and a very wide assortment of tools that come in very handy. the folks at my local store, 45 minutes away, are very helpful and knowledgeable. Hopefully you can find one close to you.
The multi-tool sheath shouldn't be a problem, the pen could be an easy to make wrap around that you sew into one edge seam of the sheath, I have no idea what a vic spirit x is..
