Where to get Vantage custom scales

Is there anyone marketing custom scales for the Buck Vantage? if so, who? and if not, why not? I would think that these things are common and interchangeable enough for there to be quite a market for them. I have been considering trying a set myself but I would be happy to buy a set ready to go.

I don't think there's anyone marketing scales for the Buck Vantage, but there are members here on the forums that could probably make you a nice set, such as Trix2004, Barry H, Phil Dobson and there's others. Give them a look, but I think the job will cost you more than what the knife's worth.

Ive been contemplating trying to make a set of my own, i think the tricky part would be getting the screw holes dead on and countersunk straight and to the right depth.

That's exactly what Eric (Ark's Knives) told me when he made the maple burl handles for me. Those are glued on, not held on by screws.

Here's how mine came out from Eric. I know he's done others but if he's done any with the screw holes, I haven't seen them.
