Hello,
I just scratched the face on my rip curl watch, it was a pretty nice dive watch, for me at least(200 or so). so i'm looking to get a new watch for my brithday in a few months. I would like to get a better watch and looking to spend bout 200-400 so and suggestions with models, ohh yes it needs to be an analog with a metal band. If you can please also suggest places to buy them. Thank you for your time.

Suggestion, I don't know how badly you scratched the face but if it isn't too bad try to buff it out with a nail buffer. Get one with a very smooth and a medium grit. Use the medium grit to take out the scratches and the fine to polish the crystal again. It worked on the crystal of my watch so it should work on your watch face BUT you have to remember to get a verrry smooth grit to polish with and don't be afraid when the med grit really scratches the face. That is how you get rid of the scratches. Good luck
 
You can get a pretty decent Seiko 200m Dive Watch for under $400.
