Need some advice from you smart folks ..Ok here is my problem; I have a Strider SNG folder. I purchased this knife used at a good price because it had a large scrape on the left side of the blade finish, I did not care because it was going to be a “user”. The blade finish is “digi-camo” (might be spelling it wrong). Anyway After a while the scrape started bugging me so a “friend” told me to “rub it out” with scotch bright..Well now the blade finish is totally ruined. I asked strider if the blade could be refinished or stonewashed, There answer was no. Does anyone know a place I can send the blade to have it stonewashed? Is it even possible?

Anything is possible. First thing, stop listening to your "friends", free advice turns out to be expensive at times as you can see. Send Richardj a message, he is a knifemaker on these forums. He can probably give that blade a sweet satin finish, he would also know who would stonewash it for you, if he doesn't do it himself. Richardj is a really good guy, very helpful, patient, and has great pricing. Give it a shot.

I'll put a blasted finish on it for free if
You pay postage both ways !! Here is what the results will look like!

wow, they must be real busy, i doubt you put too deep scratches on s30v with a scotch brite pad, sand blasting this will take a couple minutes max ...

If you end up getting your blade refinished can you post some pics. Intereseted in seeing the results.
