I know ebay has a lot of them and I look at them all the time. But having been scammed on ebay once before, I'm just too afraid to pull the trigger on a lot of these knives. Even if they appear to be authentic I'll look at the pictures so much that'll i'll convince myself it's a fake.

I know of www.vintageknives.com and have bought from them before. Anyone have any more worthwhile places online to see and buy antique knife porn? Even other auction places. I've really been wanting to start collecting nice pen knives but don't know where else to turn.

Thanks,

Eric :)

Go to your local gun and knife shows. Sometimes you can get some good buys there. I picked up some Victorinox classics for my pay it forward program, (hand outs) for 3 dollars apiece. They were probably TSA confiscations, but they were all in good shape. A small two blade Boker pen knife with wood handles was 8 dollars.

If you are pretty specific in what you want, advertise in Knife World Magazine. I've gotten some of my best Harness Jacks from KW readers!

If you have a local club to join that is a very good place to get old knives.
